Hello, I’m Esther Cho, the heart and soul behind Otter Kids Therapy. Born in Seoul, South Korea, I spent my formative years soaking in the diverse cultures of Hawai’i and the vibrant city life of Seattle.
My journey in helping children reach their fullest potential began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and English from the University of Washington. Eager to delve deeper into the realm of child development, I pursued a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis Medical School.
As a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Maryland and nationally certified professional, I bring a wealth of experience to Otter Kids Therapy. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across various settings, including outpatient pediatric clinics, in-home environments, schools, and preschools. My expertise spans age groups from birth to young adults, allowing me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each child.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I find solace and joy in spending time with my husband, two wonderful children, and our little dog. When I’m not immersed in the world of pediatric therapy, you can find me indulging in my love for reading, binge-watching TV shows, exploring my artistic side through painting, learning new skills, enjoying the outdoors, and serving my community through my church.
I am deeply passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families, and I’m honored to be a part of your child’s journey towards growth, independence, and fulfillment.
